Assistant Brand Manager, North American Whiskey

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strong support to the SBM on the portfolio to deliver key brand growth drivers across North American Whiskey
  • Strong acumen in social/digital media, PR and partnerships, cause-based marketing, experiential, trade engagement, and commercial programming.
  • Become the expert on the business by delivering business insights and performance analytics in support of the QR/MBP agenda and monthly/ad hoc reporting
  • Manage brand A&P including monthly reporting and ongoing investment optimization / M&E
  • Manage the legal review process through Diageo Content Hub
  • Drive internal PR for our unique set of brands, highlighting key wins and initiatives broadly across marketing and beyond
  • Build day-to-day relationships with agencies and internal cross-functional partners driving for greatness in creative, communications and commercial planning

Minimum Experience Requirements:

  • Undergraduate Business or Communications Degree
  • 2+ years in a brand management role, ideally within large CPG organizations
  • Previous experience within beverage alcohol or similar highly regulated industry
  • Experience working directly with - or at - communications agencies an asset
